Introducing the Rhino Premium 8x16 Greenhouse - the perfect solution for passionate gardeners who prioritise quality and exceptional plant care - this greenhouse surpasses expectations!
Improving on the already unmatched specification you expect from a Rhino Classic, the Rhino Premium will provide excellent, stress-free gardening for a generation or more.
Exceptional strength: The Rhino Premium 8x16's frame has 60% more aluminium that competitors, and strengthens it further by adding sturdy T-section bracing at every strut of the framework of the eaves and ridge. When combined with our standard Grade A, 4mm toughened safety glass and our unique Rhino glazing system which locks the glass firmly in place, all these features come together to create a windproof British greenhouse.
More for your money: The Rhino Premium 8x16 standard specification gives you four double roof vents, automatic roof openers, four five-blade louvre side vents, integral gutters and downpipes, hanging basket rails and a low threshold doorway with double doors. Every vent has a storm lock, so you can disengage your openers and lock down your Rhino Premium greenhouse roof vents when the gales sweep in to help protect your precious plants.
More space: The Rhino Premium has a 6ft 5ins doorway, and the ridge is over 8ft high, to give you plenty of headroom and space to keep taller plants under glass for longer.
Even more beautiful: With a choice of colours, including our plain aluminium finish, and optional elegant finishing touches like ridge finials and blinds the Rhino Premium 8x16 will really make a statement in your garden.
Unrivalled strength, an abundance of equipment as standard, and a 25-year guarantee. Don't settle for ordinary when you can have the extraordinary.

Purchasing a greenhouse is a big decision but we believe you’ll love having a Rhino in your garden - it’s the perfect environment for your plants and looks beautiful. It’s also very strong and safe for you and your family.
We care about quality. Which is why we design and manufacture the Rhino in our own UK factory with high quality materials we source ourselves. Discover more about what makes the Rhino so unique below.
Included as standard with the Rhino Premium 8x16 greenhouse:
- 4 Double Roof Vents
- 4 Side Louvre Vents
- 8 Automatic Roof Vent Openers
- Storm Locks
Optimal ventilation isn't easy to achieve. A mix of roof and side louvres are required to allow air to circulate around the greenhouse. In through the louvre vents and out through the roof vents.
To help, Rhino Premium greenhouses are fitted with as much roof ventilation as possible, using a combination of single, double and triple roof vents to make sure the maximum area is achieved. This means our Rhinos are the most ventilated greenhouses in their class on the market. And better still, all the roof vents are controlled by solar-powered automatic vent openers.
The British weather can be unpredictable to say the least, which is why our vents are also fitted with storm locks, allowing vents to be secured down. This is ideal when bad weather is expected, allowing the entire structure to be made airtight. Note that it is important to disengage the vents before putting the storm locks into position, to avoid causing any damage to the openers.
The high quality Rhino five-blade louvre vents allow you to take complete control of your ventilation, allowing cool air to enter from the side, circulate up through the greenhouse forcing air to escape through the roof vents.
Adequate ventilation is absolutely crucial to successful growing under glass. There is not another greenhouse on the market that has more ventilation than a Rhino.
We've produced a handy guide explaining why ventilation is so important and how to optimise your greenhouse temperature.
Keep yourself and your family safe with Rhino's combination glazing system: Toughened Safety Glass and Rubber Glazing Beads. Perfect for exposed locations and families with young children and pets.
Safety is at the heart of every Rhino greenhouse. We don't offer horticultural glass or polycarbonate glazing as options with a Rhino because we believe safety comes first. Every Rhino is fitted with our Rhino Tuff 4mm toughened safety glass, 33% thicker than most greenhouse glass. Using thicker, toughened safety glass means breakages are less likely while also ensuring that, if broken, the glass will shatter into lots of tiny pieces rather than big shards that are far more likely to cause injury. Even the edges of the glass are rounded so that you don’t cut yourself during installation. And with Grade A glass, you can achieve ultimate clarity for maximum light.
A big part of preventing breakages is how the glass is fitted which is why we've designed our unique Rhino glazing system. This system locks each pane of glass in place along its entire length, using long rubber beads so it cannot be blown or sucked out of the frame and pushing on the glass only locks the beads more tightly into the frame. Making it ideally engineered for high winds and other extreme weather conditions. With Rhino's glazing method, each pane becomes integral to the strength of the whole frame. The Premium range also features box-section glazing bead for even greater stability, as a step up from the Classic range.
When compared with the glazing that comes as standard on most greenhouses, the Rhino ranges come up trumps every time. No dangerous horticultural glass or flimsy W-clips here; and with the smooth finish achieved by our glazing beads, there's no need for bar capping either.

We wouldn’t sit on the roof if a Rhino wasn’t so strong! Indeed, it’s why we named them Rhino. The Premium range builds on the already great strength of the Rhino Classic with box section glazing bars and 3mm thick 'T' section bracing throughout.
Each Rhino frame has around 60% more aluminium than similarly priced models. But it’s not just the weight, it’s the clever design of the Rhino that provides it’s inherent strength.
We’ve tested the snow loading capacity of a Rhino by putting half a tonne of sand bags on the roof, so she’s ready for whatever the Great British weather may throw at her.
Rhinos currently inhabit much of the UK, including windy corners from Cornwall to Scotland, and further afield in the Falklands. Customers have told us that they’ve withstood winds of 137mph – could there be a better test?
Every Rhino greenhouse includes a strong aluminium base in the price, which not only provides an incredibly strong foundation but also allows The Rhino to be erected simply onto firm, level soil – so there’s no need for an expensive concrete base.
Once The Rhino is erected, strong stainless steel ground anchors are concreted into position.
You can also erect a Rhino greenhouse onto a hardstanding of concrete or paving slabs, in which case the stainless steel anchors are fixed using the expansion bolts provided.
All Rhino greenhouses now include a low threshold door and ramp within the price. There’s no longer a trip hazard at the doorway, making it easy for wheelbarrows or wheelchairs to enter the greenhouse.
Every Rhino greenhouse comes with two hanging basket rails.
The roof is so strong that it can easily handle this extra load. It's a really useful feature, freeing up lots of space on your staging for other jobs.
Every Rhino greenhouse also comes with large integral gutters as well as downpipes and bends so you can collect and use the natural rainwater that your plants love.
If you want both gutters to feed into a single water butt we also sell optional two-in-one kit available at an extra cost which joins the two pipes at the rear of the greenhouse.
Nothing says more about the quality of a Rhino greenhouse than our 25 Year Guarantee.
A generation of gardeners can rest assured that the frame and even the powder coated colour finish are covered, in the unlikely event that the greenhouse fails.
Unlike most other greenhouse brands, our Rhinos can be erected on soil. This is only due to the strength created by its sturdy base and framework. A soil base should be level and fully compacted, freshly dug soil will shift too much and isn't suitable for use as a stable foundation.
Alternatively, as long as they're smooth and level, hardstanding bases are also suitable. Paving slabs, concrete bases and brick or block perimeter plinths can be used.
