Accessible and wheelchair-friendly greenhouses by standard
At Rhino Greenhouses Direct, we’re strong believers that everyone deserves to be able to enjoy and explore a passion for gardening. That’s why our greenhouses in this collection have been designed to be as accessible as possible. Our doorways are amply wide enough for wheelchair users and there’s a low threshold ramp included as standard.
All of the greenhouses in this collection are accessible, wheelchair-friendly and come with a wide selection of styles, colours and available accessories.
Choosing the right wheelchair-friendly base
When considering greenhouse options for those who are less mobile, an important step is the base. A greenhouse’s base has the potential to make a huge difference in both its accessibility and usability. We’d recommend placing these greenhouses on either a paving slab base or a concrete base. While a soil or shingle base can provide growing benefits, they’re often not the best option for accessibility, especially in the colder, wetter winter months.
