The Kingfisher Combination Potting Shed adds an exciting new feature to the ever popular Kingfisher range. You no longer have to worry about garden storage, once you have finished potting for the day simply place your garden equipment in the fully lockable shed extension. This 6x12 model comprises of the Kingfisher 6x8 greenhouse and a perfectly fitting 6x4 shed extension.
The Kingfisher Combi package comes with all the standard features that we have come to value from the Kingfisher. The Timber is green tint tanalised pressure treated making this a greenhouse with lasting potential, whilst the toughened safety glass that comes as standard makes this a child friendly addition to any garden.
As with other Swallow models, the Kingfisher comes with full length staging down one side and the potting shed comes with two shelves as standard. So once unpacked you are ready to get to work in your new Greenhouse! There are of course a whole range of optional extras for both the greenhouses and the shed, guttering, additional shelves and extra windows for the shed mean that you can make the Kingfisher Combination your own.
A pre-prepared clear, level and firm site is essential to enable Swallow to successfully deliver and install your greenhouse.
Although at a minimum this could be firmly compacted soil, for the best long term performance and stability, it is strongly recommended that a concrete, brick or block base is provided.
Please also ensure that there is clear access for the glazed sections of the greenhouse to be carried to the site.
The particular materials chosen and specific site conditions will determine the exact basework specification and how and where the greenhouse will sit on the completed base. Slabs or a concrete pad should ideally be slightly over the greenhouse footprint size, as supplied by Swallow greenhouses, but critically must be laid dead flat and level.
A brick or blockwork plinth must be laid so that it is precisely level, square and to the correct footprint dimensions for this particular greenhouse, as supplied by Swallow greenhouses. (NB these may differ from nominal sizes quoted in sales literature or in descriptions on this website).

Natural finish The timber takes on a green tint whilst being preserved by the tanalising process. This gives an attractive, natural appearance to the greenhouse and requires no maintenace, other than an annual clean.
Painted Lily finish This attractive finish will really improve the appearance of your new greenhouse. The timber is treated in exactly the same way as for the natural finish before being coated with an opaque water borne acrylic top coat. This flexible microporous protective film is resistant to bacterial mould and UV attack. The Lily colour option costs a little more because Swallow take extra time and trouble to specially treat knots, and to apply an extra proming coat and top coat, to give a top quality long-lasting finish.
Painted Olive finish This attractive finish will really improve the appearance of your new greenhouse. The timber is treated in exactly the same way as for the natural finish before being coated with an opaque water borne acrylic top coat. This flexible microporous protective film is resistant to bacterial mould and UV attack.
