Historically the most popular Mini size, this 6x8 has loads of growing room but will still fit well into today's smaller gardens. Access is through a generous 2' wide (nom) doorway and, once inside, the good roof pitch means there's plenty of head and growing room. The 2sq ft roof vent, fitted with a fully automatic opener and used in conjunction with the rear gable louvre, gives controlled and easy ventilation. Externally, full length toughened glass held safely in place by cappings gives a satisfying, tidy appearance and avoids dirt traps and sharp,ugly metal clips whilst neat gutters and downpipes can channel that precious rainwater into a butt. The included galvanised steel base is a real time and money saver, instantly providing the correct size foundation and removing the time, effort and cost of building a traditional base. The maintenance free powdercoat paint finish is painstakingly applied to the highest of standards and will transform the Mini into even more of an attractive garden feature. GALVANISED STEEL BASE Designed to sit on any firm, level surface including soil, the strong galvanised steel base supplied with the Rhino Mini is a fantastic time and money saver. It instantly provides a sturdy foundation plinth to the exact size for the greenhouse. It removes the need to spend considerable time, effort and money laying a traditional brick base and also will not twist or warp like wood. On soil, it is held in position by the supplied ground anchors which are concreted into the ground. On a hardstand, the ground anchors are cut down to act as corner brackets only and the flat bottom lip of the base is drilled and screwed down with appropriate fixings. (Please note, if a traditional base of bricks, blocks, slabs or concrete is provided, great care must be taken to ensure that it is precisely level, square and to the exact footprint dimensions for this particular greenhouse - these will differ from the nominal sizes quoted in our sales literature or on this website. 18" is ideal for small greenhouses and essential for models such as the 5ft wide, where the bays either side of the door are only 18" wide.
24" is the most popular size, suiting almost any greenhouse. The popular Reservoir and Potting Pal are designed for this depth.
30" is designed for 8ft wide and larger greenhouses, offering 25% more workspace than the 24".
2, 4, 6 or 8ft long, it's entirely up to you!
Your choice entirely. The second tier can be fitted at one of two different heights, so you can either leave room to store items underneath the second tier or move it lower and maximise the space on the shelf itself.
If you have a green-framed greenhouse then you may want to have the staging frame powdercoated green too. Note that the wooden slats and stainless steel trays are not painted green (but you'll be covering these with plants anyway).
Wooden slats are double vacuum treated with preservative and will not rot. The slats allow free drainage for trays and pots as well as making ideal second tiers for storage.
Stainless steel trays are very strong indeed (like other manufacturers, we used to supply aluminium trays but these are so much better). The edges are folded back on themselves for safety. They can fit as either a flat surface, or better still upturned and filled with pea shingle. Not only is this an ideal drainage medium for pots but it creates a moist microclimate around your plants - they'll love it!

Professional Installation
With help at key moments, a competent DIY enthusiast should erect this size of greenhouse in a weekend.
However, this time and effort can be eliminated by using a Professional Installer who will quickly and correctly erect, glaze and anchor down the greenhouse on your pre-prepared site - either soil or hardstanding.
