The Viscount is our best selling 8x12. Not surprising really as it is a lovely sized greenhouse offering an unbeatable combination of strength, features and value for money!

Stronger than many other models in the £700 to £1200 price range, thanks to it's box section ridge, sturdy integral aluminium base, extra bracing front and rear and 3 braces on every roof bay, the Viscount can withstand much of the unpredictable, severe weather that we seem to suffer from nowadays.

Very spacious with an eave height of 4ft 9in and ridge of 7ft 9in, it features full length gutters and comes with 4ft wide double doors for good access and extra ventilation.

Successful greenhouse gardening relies on plenty of ventilation and the Viscount boasts 4 roof vents as standard. We recommend that one or ideally 2 louvres and automatic roof openers are added for maximum control. In addition to standard horticultural glass, the Consort can be upgraded with a choice of safety glazing - toughened safety glass or polycarbonate – and it’s appearance enhanced by the addition of a high quality, maintenance free, powder coat paint finish.

INTEGRAL ALUMINIUM BASE.

The most modern design featuring heavy duty aluminium sections to which the rest of the frame directly attaches to become an integrated part of the structure. The result is a harmonious and strong design which comfortably supports its own weight so that it can be directly placed on clear, firm, level soil.

Greenhouses with this feature are so strong that they remove the extra expense and effort of laying bricks, blocks or concrete which weaker designs are obliged to have. On many models a 'no trip' low door threshold can also be included which gives easy wheelbarrow and disabled access.

Maintenance free, rustproof and immune from the warping and rotting associated with wood, on soil it is held in position by ground anchors which are concreted in place. On a hardstand, the flat bottom lip is drilled and screwed down with appropriate fixings.
