The strongly constructed, British made frame of the Supreme 10x20 (built to standards higher than less well made competitors and cheap imports!) includes four roof and two louvre vents. Catering for the needs of the ambitious enthusiast, Elite also recommend that a base (typically bricks, blocks or concrete, carefully sized according to their technical information) is provided to support the greenhouse.
We also strongly recommend an upgrade to safety glazing to help protect children, pets – and the gardener! Good ventilation, essential for healthy plants,can be improved by adding extra roof and side vents plus autovent openers for flexible and automatically controlled airflow. Many people also select a maintenance free paint finish to help the greenhouse blend attractively into the garden.
A huge choice of accessories is available, including the exclusive Rhino range of staging and shelving, whilst specialist growers needing a particular specification can choose from customising options like tailoring the size, adding a partition or modifying to sit on a dwarf wall in order to build their perfect greenhouse! This model requires a traditionally built supporting foundation base (typically bricks, blocks, slabs or concrete).
The materials chosen and general site conditions will determine the exact basework specification, how and where the greenhouse will sit on the completed base and how it will be fixed down.
However, the base must be precisely level, square and to the correct footprint dimensions for this particular greenhouse (NB these will differ from nominal sizes quoted in sales literature or in descriptions on this website).

Plain aluminium finish. Natural aluminium colour - bright and shiny initially but gradually gains an oxidised top layer to give a familiar 'matt' apperance to the greenhouse framework.
Green powdercoated finish. Lustrous, permanent colour which is maintenance free and highly resistant to marking and chipping. Finish is applied via a lengthy, painstaking process which literally bonds the colour to the metal. Be aware that some cheaper, often imported, models shortcut the process for cost reasons resulting in a less durable finish.

Rhino automatic roof vent opener. Will fit aluminium greenhouses (no drilling required, simply clamps to the frame) or can be screwed to the frames of timber greenhouses. Fitted with a very reliable cylinder for long life.
